Memorandum of Understanding
The Memoranda of Understanding of the MICE.N.E. – MICE Next Evolution project are intended to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions, training providers and stakeholders in the MICE sector, in order to support innovation, sustainability and the digital transformation of the industry. The signatories share a common vision focused on the development of managerial, digital and green skills for future professionals in the sector and commit to collaborating in the dissemination, promotion and valorisation of the project results. In particular, cooperation covers the design and implementation of an innovative curriculum in MICE Management, the sharing of educational resources and microlearning tools, the promotion of training approaches based on work-based learning and transformational coaching, as well as support for dissemination, networking and capacity-building activities, thereby contributing to the long-term sustainability and impact of the initiatives developed.

Awareness-raising Events
The section dedicated to awareness-raising events provides an overview of the main dissemination and exchange activities organised by the project partnership throughout the implementation of MICE.N.E. – MICE Next Evolution. These events represented strategic opportunities to present the project’s objectives, disseminate the results achieved, and promote the new MICE Management curriculum and the training tools developed, while simultaneously strengthening dialogue between academia, industry and institutional stakeholders.
The events played a central role in raising awareness among the various target groups of the new digital, green and managerial skills required to address the ongoing transformations in the MICE sector. Through presentations, guided discussions and moments of exchange, participants were engaged in exploring the potential of the MICE.N.E. curriculum, the Open Educational Resources, and innovative approaches based on work-based learning and transformational team coaching. The main objective was to encourage the adoption and reuse of the project results in different educational and professional contexts, both at national and international levels.
The awareness-raising events involved a diverse audience, including university lecturers, students, professionals from the MICE and tourism sectors, representatives of professional associations, destination management organisations, and actors involved in other European projects. This broad and varied participation helped to foster the exchange of good practices, gather high-quality feedback on the project outcomes, and strengthen synergies between higher education and the world of work.
