The objectives of the network
1. Share creative, interactive, immersive and laboratory solutions, methodologies and technologies for teaching/learning developed in the “MICE.N.E.” project:
- The HE MICE Management Curriculum that offers an in-depth study of the MICE industry, focusing on strategic planning, operational management, sustainable practices, and technological integration in event management. It aims to develop skilled professionals equipped to handle the complex challenges of the MICE sector
- The online OERs and educational games that allow students to put themselves in the shoes of a trainee in an event organisation agency to test the knowledge they have acquired
- The MICE teaching manual on transformational team coaching and work-based teaching, that supports educators and empowers students guiding them in conducting an as-is to-be analysis in companies in the MICE sector to propose innovative solutions to facilitate the twin transition
2. Contribute to defining education and training contents, models and tools in line with the characteristics of the European economic and social system, in a globalized perspective, contributing to increasing quality and competitiveness
3. Promote opportunities for meeting and collaboration among its members
4. Favour the development of digital skills by supporting permanent access to diverse educational resources
5. Stimulate structured dialogue and collaboration between VET providers, academic institutions, and tourism-related businesses to drive green and digital transitions
6. Promote the sustainability and competitiveness of European small and medium-sized enterprises through ongoing cooperation and innovation
How to join the network
Joining the network is free of charge and does not bind the participating HE Institutions/Educators/Consultants in any way. It is merely an opportunity to connect with and work with other educators and to be able to adopt transformational team coaching and work-based teaching that responds to today’s needs of MICE enterprises.
Communication with the network
The network runs a group on the EPALE platform containing useful materials and resources on the main results of the MICE.NE project. Anyone can be part of it and share their skills and research with the network. The network uses open source and free tools for 90% of its activities.
